HA1328 Winchester Super X3 Walnut Field, Gas-Semi-Auto, 20 Ga., 2 3/4" & 3", 28" MC Bbl., NIB, $995
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
Winchester Says: Bold looks and innovative features make the Winchester Super X3 Field a beautiful sight to behold and a force to reckon with. Weighing in at a scant 6 3/4 pounds — thanks to a weight-saving magazine tube and recoil spring system, slim barrel with a machined rib, and an alloy receiver, — the 3" chambered Super X3 Field has all the features you want in a field gun, or a sporting gun for that matter. The self-adjusting Active Valve gas system reduces recoil significantly more than recoil-operated systems and a proprietary next generation Pachmayr® Decelerator® recoil pad is fitted to further increase shooting comfort. Trim grip and forearm dimensions add to the lightweight, fast handling feeling. The .742" (.630" in 20 Ga.) Back-Bored Technology and Invector-Plus™ choke tube system work together to provide perfect patterns. A unique gunmetal grey Perma-Cote UT (Ultra Tough) surface finish is applied to external surfaces for extreme corrosion protection, and the bolt is plated with electroless nickel for added corrosion resistance. This is one shotgun you must experience to believe. Three choke tubes and two stock spacers for length of pull adjustments are included.
Hero's Arms Says: This is an all around light twenty with reduced recoil that can be adapted to shooters of varying heights. The gun comes with one spacer installed and a 14 1/4" Length of Pull, but 2 more can be installed to bring it to 14 3/4", or the installed one can be removed bringing it to 14". The cast & drop shims can be installed between the stock and the receiver to suit individual preferences for cast on or cast off and drop. It would be handy for most kinds of hunting, and for skeet or sporting clays. It uses Invector Plus chokes which are widely available, and comes with tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. It is made by FN in Belgium.

HA1118 Miida 2200 Skeet, O/U, 12 Ga., 2 3/4", 27" SK/SK (Used 97%), $995
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
OK, so I didn't know what a Miida was either. Miida (Pronounced Mee-ee-dah) is a Winchester 101, but with better wood and engraving, smuggled out of the Ohlin-Kodensha plant where the 101 was made by Nikko to be assembled in a building next door and then sold in the US in 1972 and 1973 by Marubeni USA (all this according to the Blue Book entry on Nikko). This used Miida is in excellent condition except for a crack in the wood behind the receiver on the left side which doesn't cause any trouble and seems unlikely to grow. It has beautiful, almost full coverage, deeply incised, floral engravings on the receiver and top lever. The forearm release lever is the older, more expensive to make, two piece design similar to the Browning Superposed. It accepts 2 3/4" shells in its 27" barrels, fixed choked Skeet and Skeet. It has a 14" Length Of Pull over a plastic but plate, making it suitable for the shorter shooter, and of course, a recoil pad could be installed to increase the LOP. This would be an excellent gun for skeet, upland hunting or sporting clays, particularly since a gun of this quality and appearance is rarely found selling for under $1000.
