HA603 Browning Cynergy Classic Field, O/U, .410 Bore, 2 1/2" & 3", 26"MC Bbls (Used 99.5%), Cased, $1,595
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
This almost new 2007 Cynergy Classic Field .410 has had fewer than 100 shots fired through it, 50 of which were two rounds of skeet I shot. Its 26" barrels will chamber both 2 1/2" and 3" .410 shells, and have both mid and front white bead sights. It came with flush Invector chokes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder, and Hero's Arms has added two Briley X-2 Extended Skeet chokes, a Briley Speed Wrench, and a Briley Choke Case (over $100 value). It has all the innovative Cynergy mechanical features: Monoloc Hinge, Impact Ejectors; Mechanical Trigger; Reverse Striker Ignition System; Engraved Silver Nitride Receiver; 3" Chrome Chambers; Ventilated Top & Side Ribs. It also has a classic checkered walnut pistol grip stock with a 14 1/4" Length of Pull over a plastic butt plate, and a Schnabel style forearm. At 6 pounds 9 ounces, with a 14 1/2" Length of Pull, it is an excellent gun for upland hunting, and is an excellent choice for an accomplished lady (or gentleman) skeet shooter. As a pre-owned gun it does not qualify for the Cynergy Club Rebate Package, so Hero's Arms has added a Browning Luggage style fitted case, a $150 value, making a total of over $250 in additions.

HA602 Franchi Renaissance Sporting Adjustable Comb, 12 Gauge 2 3/4" & 3", 30"MC Ported Bbls., Briley 20 Ga. Side-Kicks (Used 99%) $1,895
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
This Franchi Renaissance Sporting has been used for a few months. It is a beautiful gun for any clay target sport, it weighs 7 pounds 14.5 ounces (steel receiver for weight and durability) and has a Twin Shock Absorber recoil pad (with a translucent Technogel insert) which has a 14 1/2" Length of Pull. Other TSA pads are available or on back-order which will give a 14.75" or 15" LOP. It has an adjustable Monte Carlo stock which can be used to set the gun for left or right handed shooters, and for Trap, Skeet or Sporting Clays. It has a right handed palm swell. The sight is a lime green fiber optic for quick target acquisition. The barrels are ported to reduce recoil and allow for a quicker second shot. It comes with 5 choke tubes in Modified, Improved Cylinder, two Skeet and Cylinder constrictions, others are widely available as they interchange with Benelli tubes. The safety is manual, not automatic, so you won't miss a target because you forgot to take the gun off safe. The receiver has highly detailed engraving and a gold clay pigeon on each side, with another on the top lever. It comes cased with a stock wrench, a choke tube wrench, and oil. A set of used 20 Gauge Briley Side-Kick inserts are included (these cost $300 new) and allow the gun to shoot and eject 20 Gauge shells. I took this gun out for a couple of rounds of skeet, shot a 24 with the 12 Gauge and a 21 with the Briley inserts (not their fault, my usual misses). My shooting companions told me I should keep it.

HA597 Franchi Veloce O/U 28 Gauge 2 3/4", 26"MC Bbls (Used 99%) Cased, $1,445
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
This is a beautiful, light 28 Gauge slightly used Over/Under shotgun suitable for upland hunting, or for skeet. With 26" barrels and weighing only 5 pounds 10.5 ounces it is fast handling and lives up to its Italian name "Veloce." The figured walnut stock has a 14 1/2" Length of Pull over a sporting two part recoil pad which has a smooth plastic top part to keep from snagging clothes while being shouldered. The receiver is coin finished with gold birds on each side. It comes with a Modified, and two Improved Cylinder choke tubes (Briley Skeet tubes are available). The monoblock is jeweled, the top lever filigreed. It has a mechanical (not inertial) trigger selectable by moving the tang mounted automatic safety. The only sign that it has been used are a couple of tiny fingernail indentations near the top of the forearm on the right side. I shot two rounds of skeet with it with excellent results. It would be a wonderful ladies skeet gun.

HA585 Beretta Teknys Gold Semi-Auto 12 Ga. 2 3/4" & 3", 26" or 30" MC Bbl. (Used 99.5%) $1,295
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
This Beretta AL391 Teknys Gold was fired fewer than 25 times before being traded in to Hero's Arms. It is basically in perfect condition. Hero's Arms has added a Briley 4" extension tube so that now it can be a 26" upland hunting gun, or a 30" duck, sporting clays or skeet gun. It shoots both 2 3/4" and 3" shells from its 3 in. chamber, the receiver has engraved hunting scenes, jeweled breech bolt and carrier, checkered deluxe walnut stock and forearm with green colored enamel inserts in rear receiver and front of stock, includes Gel-Tek recoil pad, and stock recoil reducer. It also has inserts for changing the drop and cast of the stock, and an ordinary buttplate. The length of pull can be adjusted by buying different thickness gel pads. It comes with five Optima Plus choke tubes in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Cylinder constrictions. These screw directly into the barrel, or, if the Briley Extension is installed, into the Extension.

HA498 Winchester 101 Pigeon-Presentation Trap O/U, 12 Ga. 30"F/IM, Refinished, Cased, $3,950
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
This is a rare and beautifully engraved Winchester 101 Pigeon-Presentation Grade trap gun. The wood has been professionally refinished by Klaus Hiptmayer and the gun is in exceptional condition. I call it a Pigeon-Presentation Grade because I am unable to find reference to a Pigeon Grade with the gold and silver inlays that are in this particular pattern, which is the Presentation grade pattern. The ordinary 101 Pigeon Grade has a silver finish receiver, and the Super Pigeon Grade has different birds on the two sides. It comes in a new, fitted solid leather case with space for snap caps and cleaning supplies, straps, and with a canvas cover to protect the case. Have a look at the details of the engraving and the gold and silver inlays and you will see why this is the rival of the Browning Midas grade. This would make a wonderful present for yourself, or for someone you wish to honor.

HA96 Winchester 101 Field Grade O/U 30 inch Bbls M/LM $825
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click here.
This Winchester 101 is in very good condition, it has a pattern of marks on the top of the stock at the heel which may have come from hitting a hearing protector, and a 3/8" long crack in the forearm between the front screw and the iron. If has a bit of wear on the bluing on the bottom of the receiver. It is listed as Full over Modified Chokes, but I read it as Modified over light Modified (Constrictions of .018 and .015). In general it is in excellent

HA343 Arizaga (Gaspar) Side by Side DT Shotgun, 12 Ga. 2 3/4", 28"LM/LF, 80% Condition, $295
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
A gun which shows signs of quality workmanship, this 12 Gauge side-by-side was made in Eibar, Spain, home of the Spanish/Basque firearms industry by Gaspar Arizaga a recognized manufacturer as their Mondial (world) model. It has fallen on hard times, the wood looks like it has been tossed in piles of guns, the metal shows some abrasions (although the case coloring on the receiver is still bright), and, adding insult to injury, a geographically challenged employ of the importer etched on the underside of the barrel that it was "Made in Belgium", which it clearly was not. In any event this would make a rewarding project gun, a home defense gun, or a "beater" depending on your taste. I had thought of cutting off the barrel to 18" or 19" and the stock behind the Prince of Wales Grip, remounting the back swivel on the tip of the grip and calling it a Lupara, (the short barreled-still legal length-shotgun favored in Sicily for protection against wolves) but I have not seen many wolves in Vermont. Your call.

HA412 SKB Model 505 O/U 12 Ga. 3", 26" MC Bbls., (Used), $995.00
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click here.
This used SKB (Sakaba) 12 Gauge O/U has 26" barrels and comes with Modified, Improved Cylinder and Skeet chokes, a 3" chamber and pistol grip stock. It uses Briley choke tubes so they are easily available. LOP is 14 1/4", and it weighs 7 pounds 8 1/2 ounces. It has the modified Greener cross bolt lock up making it one of the strongest locking systems around. An excellent gun for upland hunting or skeet. The gun is in 98% condition, the only indication of use is worn bluing on the top of the barrel where it meets the receiver, probably from being pushed into the case. There are a few exceedingly minor marks on the wood, but overall this will prove to be an exceedingly reliable gun for years of hunting or skeet.

HA496 Ithaca Model 66 SuperSingle Lever Opening, 12 Ga. 3", 28" IM Barrel, (Used 90%) $200
For a full page of photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.
An unusual 12 Gauge single shot shotgun, it breaks open when the lever is pushed down. It has an extractor which lifts the fired shell, and a hammer which must be manually cocked before firing. Its 28" barrel is choked Improved Modified, and it has sling studs. Because of its unique action there is apparently some collector interest, but it would also be some fun to shoot. This is from the same company that imported Perazzi single barreled trap shotguns in the 1970s, but it is a bit less expensive.
