This Beretta AL391 Teknys Gold was fired fewer than 25 times before being traded in to Hero's Arms. It is basically in perfect condition. Hero's Arms has added a Briley 4" extension tube so that now it can be a 26" upland hunting gun, or a 30" duck, sporting clays or skeet gun. It shoots both 2 3/4" and 3" shells from its 3 in. chamber, the receiver has engraved hunting scenes, jeweled breech bolt and carrier, checkered deluxe walnut stock and forearm with green colored enamel inserts in rear receiver and front of stock, includes Gel-Tek recoil pad, and stock recoil reducer. It also has inserts for changing the drop and cast of the stock, and an ordinary buttplate. The length of pull can be adjusted by buying different thickness gel pads. It comes with five Optima Plus choke tubes in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Cylinder constrictions. These screw directly into the barrel, or, if the Briley Extension is installed, into the Extension.

HA573 Browning BPS Ambidextrous Stalker Pump 10 Ga. 3.5", 28"MC Bbl., NIB, $475

This Browning BPS is designed to shoot steel shot for waterfowl hunting,. It is ambidextrous because it ejects from the bottom and the safety is on the top tang so either a right or left handed shooter can use it. It weighs almost 10 pounds to soak up the recoil of a 10 gauge 3 1/2" shell. It has been suggested that it is cheaper to use 10 Gauge steel shot rather than 12 Gauge High Density shot. An inexpensive working gun for large birds.

HA549 Browning BPS Micro Pump Shotgun (Compact Adult/Youth Ambidextrous) 20 Ga. 3", 22" MC Bbl., NIB, $475

This 20 Gauge Browning BPS Micro Shotgun is ideal for the smaller shooter, and for left or right handed shooters because it ejects shells from the bottom, and the safety is on the top of the receiver so it can be operated by either thumb. The receiver is made from forged and machined steel. The barrel is a compact 22" in length, with ventilated rib, and it has Invector Plus Choke Tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder Constrictions. (A Skeet tube is also available). It has a 3" chamber so can shoot either 2 3/4" or 3" shells. With the addition of a rifled choke tube it would make a handy slug gun for deer hunting. It has dual steel action bars. The stock & forearm have cut checkering and satin finish walnut. With its weight of 6 pounds 13.5 ounces, its 13 5/16" Length of pull, and shorter than average 3" LOTP (Length of Trigger Pull) from the bottom of the Pistol Grip, this is an all around gun for a compact adult or young person, suitable for hunting of all types as well as skeet and other clay target sports.

The Beretta Xtrema2 is a remarkably flexible gun. With the (included) spacers the Length of Pull can go from a Youth/Compact Adult length to a length suitable for a 6 foot shooter. A stock spacer (included) can change the stock drop and cast (for a right or left handed shooter). The 3 1/2" chamber can accept, interchangeably, 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" shells, and the gas operating system can function with any of them. While the magazine is blocked to two rounds, for a total of 3 (with one in the chamber) in accord with migratory wildlife laws, the block can be removed giving a total capacity of 4 or 5 - 2 3/4" shells, 4 - 3" shells, or 3 - 3.5" shells. It comes with five Beretta Optimachoke Plus tubes, in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder constrictions. It has a magazine cut-off lever which allows unloading the chamber without feeding a shell from the magazine. It is hard to imagine a hunter or hunting situation this gun would not suit. It comes with a three year warranty from Beretta USA.

HA524 Remington Express 870 Pump Left Hand, Laminate Stock, 12 Ga. 3", 28"MC Bbl., NIB, $375

A utilitarian field gun which can also be used for clay target sports, this Remington 870 Express is set up for the left handed shooter. It ejects from the left side, and has a Left Hand cross bolt safety. It has a 13 15/16" Length Of Pull, making it suitable for the shorter shooter or for heavy hunting clothes. It has an attractive (I think) and strong laminated stock. It comes with one choke tube in Modified constriction, but of course Remington chokes in other constrictions are widely available. It has a two year warranty from Remington.
