The newest addition to the Marlin LC Smith line, this Side-by-Side double barrel 28 Gauge is made in Spain by Zabala Hermanos, very much in the style of the old LC Smith. It has automatic selective ejectors, a single selective trigger, screw in choke tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder Constrictions, Skeet tubes are available. The pistol grip stock has a 14 3/8" length of Pull, and a distinct Cast Off of 1/4" (for Right Handed Shooters). The wood features a Fleur de Lys checkering pattern. The action is case colored, and the side-plates and bottom of the receiver have gold accented birds in flight. A nice touch is that the action bar, or watertable, and the mating flat underside of the barrels have been engine turned, or jeweled. With its 26" barrels and 6 pound 8 ounce weight this is an elegant gun for upland hunting or skeet. It comes with Marlin's 5 year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

HA348 LC Smith (Marlin) SxS 20 Gauge 3", 26" MC Bbls., NIB, $1,499

This 20-gauge double barrel, made in Italy by Fausti, features 3" chambers, a single trigger, selective automatic ejectors, three choke tubes (IC, M, F-others will be available from Trulock), 26" barrels with a solid rib and a bead front sight. Its walnut stock is checkered, and has a beavertail forearm and a vented recoil pad. The Side Plates are Case colored, and the pressed checkering features a fleur-de-lys pattern, similar to the historic LC Smith shotguns. The single trigger is mechanical and non-selective, it always fires the right barrel first. The safety is non-automatic. It weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces, and has a 14 3/8" Length of Pull. It comes with a five year guarantee from Marlin. This is an attractive and well made gun.

A famous name, L. C. Smith, has been revived by Marlin with this Italian made (by Fausti Stefano) Over and Under 12 Gauge shotgun. As with the original L.C. Smiths it has a case colored receiver, and attractive fleur-de-lis checkering (all it needs is an entwined serpent and it would be the Hero's Arms Logo). It has a 28" Barrel, chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" shells, and comes with three screw in choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder constrictions. The stock has a 14 3/8" Length of Pull over a sporting vented rubber pad. It has a close radius pistol grip, similar to the Browning 525s. With a weight of 7 pounds 13 1/2 ounces it will tame the recoil of magnum loads. It has a tang mounted barrel selector combined with an automatic safety.
