For the waterfowler desiring  a longer barrel, this is the gun.  With its 30" barrels,  synthetic stock, mossy oak duck blind camo finish, and 3 1/2" chamber (which will also shoot 2 3/4" and 3" shells) it is ready for the blind.  The Inflex recoil system allows the gun to be fit to shooters from under 5' tall to well over 6' tall.  The comb is adjustable for drop by pushing out a pin and sliding it up in 1/8" increments.   It comes with Invector Plus choke tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder constrictions, and others are easy to find.

This is a Browning Citori Micro designed for a compact adult.  It has a 13 3/4" Length of pull and a 26" barrel.  It would be suitable for people from under under 5 feet tall to people up to 5 feet 5 inches.  At seven pounds 4.5 ounces and with a vent rubber recoil pad it will handle the recoil of a 12 gauge shell in either 2 3/4" or 3".  It comes with Invector Plus choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder constrictions, and other are easily available.

HA1118 Miida 2200 Skeet, O/U, 12 Ga., 2 3/4", 27" SK/SK (Used 97%), $995

OK, so I didn't know what a Miida was either. Miida (Pronounced Mee-ee-dah) is a Winchester 101, but with better wood and engraving, smuggled out of the Ohlin-Kodensha plant where the 101 was made by Nikko to be assembled in a building next door and then sold in the US in 1972 and 1973 by Marubeni USA (all this according to the Blue Book entry on Nikko).  This used Miida is in excellent condition except for a crack in the wood behind the receiver on the left side which doesn't cause any trouble and seems unlikely to grow. It has beautiful, almost full coverage, deeply incised, floral engravings on the receiver and top lever.  The forearm release lever is the older, more expensive to make, two piece design similar to the Browning Superposed.  It accepts 2 3/4" shells in its 27" barrels, fixed choked Skeet and Skeet.  It has a 14" Length Of Pull over a plastic but plate, making it suitable for the shorter shooter, and of course, a recoil pad could be installed to increase the LOP.  This would be an excellent gun for skeet, upland hunting or sporting clays, particularly since a gun of this quality and appearance is rarely found selling for under $1000.

This Browning BT99 Micro Trap gun is New-In-Box.  It is designed specifically for trap shooting, it has no safety (safety is assured by only loading and closing the gun when your turn has come and you are standing on the pad).  It has a 32" barrel with one Full Choke Invector Plus choke tube (of course other Invector Plus chokes are easily available).  It has an Extractor, what the English call a "Lifter", so your shells don't get ejected on the ground.  It has a wide "beaver tail" forearm for a good grip and recoil control. The stock features a reduced Length of Pull at 13 3/4", suitable for the shorter shooter.  It has no palm swell so it is suitable for both left and right handed shooters. It has no engraving,  no porting (there is no second shot) - it is just a solid, last-forever Trap gun for shooting year after year.

HA905 Browning BPS Micro Pump Shotgun (Compact Adult/Youth Ambidextrous) 20 Ga. 3", 22" MC Bbl., NIB, $525

This 20 Gauge Browning BPS Micro Shotgun is ideal for the smaller shooter, and for left or right handed shooters because it ejects shells from the bottom, and the safety is on the top of the receiver so it can be operated by either thumb.  The receiver is made from forged and machined steel.  The barrel is a compact 22" in length, with ventilated rib, and it has Invector Plus Choke Tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder Constrictions, others are widely available.  It has a 3" chamber so can shoot either 2 3/4" or 3" shells.  With the addition of a rifled choke tube it would make a handy slug gun for deer hunting. It has dual steel action bars.  The stock & forearm have cut checkering and satin finish walnut.  With its weight of 6 pounds 13.5 ounces, its 13 5/16" Length of pull, and shorter than average 3" LOTP (Length of Trigger Pull) from the bottom of the Pistol Grip, this is an all around gun for a compact adult or young person, suitable for hunting of all types as well as skeet and other clay target sports.
