This Cynergy Field is a light gun, but because it has a steel receiver it is well suited to both hunting and skeet. The Inflex recoil pad will help control recoil for extended shooting, and with a combination of three lengths available, and spacers, the length of pull can be varied from 13 3/4" to 15" or more making it an easily customizable gun for a large range of shooter heights (from under 5' to over 6'). This "Sterling Elegance" was made for J. P. Sauer & Sohn by Caesar Guerini. It is an all-around European style shotgun, with sling swivels in the case and a swivel mounting point under the barrel. Its 28" barrels chamber both 2 3/4" & 3" shells and come with 5 choke tubes in Full,. Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Cylinder constrictions. Its nicely figured stock has a 14 1/2 to 14 3/4" Length Of Pull over a checkered wood butt plate. It has a Cast-Off for a right handed shooter of 1/4". The Length of Pull is adjustable by moving the trigger, and a wrench is included. It has a steel receiver covered in elegant engraving, but weighs only 7 pounds 4.5 ounces. The sides of the Monobloc are very finely jeweled (engine turned). It has a one year warranty from Caesar Guerini & J. P. Sauer & Sohn. This is a beautiful gun.

A slightly used trade-in (fewer than 300 shots) gun in as new condition, it weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces (steel receiver for weight and durability) and has a Twin Shock Absorber recoil pad (with a translucent Technogel insert) which should make for a very comfortable day of shooting, and which can be replaced to change the Length Of Pull to 14 3/4 or 15". It has an adjustable Monte Carlo stock which can be used to set the gun for left or right handed shooters, and for Trap, Skeet or Sporting Clays. It has a slight right handed palm swell. The front sight is a lime green fiber optic for quick target acquisition. The barrels are ported to reduce recoil and allow for a quicker second shot. This Baikal shotgun was manufactured in Russia by Izhevsky mekhanichesky zavod and was imported and guaranteed by Remington. This is a 7 pound 20 Gauge over/under with 26 1/2" multi-choke chrome lined barrels. By turning screws on the face of the receiver a quarter-turn it can be converted from ejecting shells to lifting-extracting them, and back again. It normally fires the bottom barrel first, but if you press the trigger forward until it clicks it will fire the top barrel first. The trigger is mechanical so a dud does not keep the second barrel from firing. It has 1/4" Cast Off so it is for a right-hander. The Length of Pull is only 13 15/16" so shooters of less than average height (5'0" to 5'6") will find that it fits them well. It has a reasonable trigger-pull at 6 lbs 14 ounces. It comes with 4 choke tubes in Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Cylinder constrictions, and Hero's Arms has added a 5th tube in Skeet constriction. Baikal shotguns are very reliable and strong. This Franchi Renaissance Field over/under has been professionally shortened to a 13 1/4" Length of Pull making it suitable for a compact adult or youth shooter in the 4' 10" to 5' 2" range. It has also been converted to a manual, non-automatic safety. It has been very little used, the only sign that is is not brand new are a few very light scratches in the wood on the left side of the stock just behind the receiver. It has an alloy receiver and weighs only 5 pounds 12.5 ounces. Its barrels are chambered to shoot both 2 3/4" and 3" shells, and are 27 1/2" (or 700mm) long. It comes with chokes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder constrictions, and uses Franchi-Benelli-Beretta Mobil chokes so other constrictions are widely available.It is cased with an Owners Manual. This would be an excellent choice for hunting, skeet , sporting clays or informal trap shooting. For anyone looking for a small, light, quality shotgun at a bargain price this may be the answer.

This SKB 600 Deluxe Field has attractive engraving and nicely figured wood. It's 30" barrels use Invector chokes (which are widely available) and it shoots both 2 3/4" and 3" shells. Hero's Arms Says: Gun Tests Magazine (December 2009) ranked the Maxus above their previous favorite the Benelli SBE II because it was easier to load, cycled everything from 2 3/4" 7/8 ounce shells to 3 1/2" 2 1/4 ounce loads, was easy to clean, and had several useful features. There is no end cap on the magazine, the forearm pulls off after a lever is lifted, the magazine limiter plug comes out with a screwdriver or a car key, the magazine cut-off allows for quick switching of loads without emptying the gun. It starts with a 14 1/8" Length of Pull and comes with two 1/4" spacers which would bring it to 14 5/8. Additional spacers can be ordered and installed using longer screws. It comes with a set of cast and drop spacers which an give it a 1/8" cast On or Off, and/or raise or lower the comb by 1/8". It is not called "Golden Clays" though everything else with this engraving pattern is called "Golden Clays". Go figure. It has some of the most spectacular wood I've seen, far better than the Grade II/III advertised. At 8 pounds 4 0unces you are not likely to be bothered by the recoil from anything you shoot through it. The adjustable trigger gives 3/8" adjustment to the 14 15/16" Length of Pull. I'm not sure I'd want to carry this around all day for upland hunting, but for hunting from a blind, skeet, sporting clays or trap it would be hard to beat. The Invector Plus choke tubes come in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet constrictions. It does not have a palm swell so it is equally usable by left and right handed shooters. Mostly your friends will say, "Isn't that a beauty".

This system has very few parts and is easier to clean than most other semi-autos. This ones actual weight is 6 pounds 14 ounces, and shoots both 2 3/4" and 3" shells so it could easily be used for hunting as well as clay target sports. Franchi Says: The Franchi I-12 Limited effortlessly combines art and function. The upland field gun has a satin-nickel receiver, strikingly accented with inlaid gold game birds. The metalwork is complemented by a stock cut from AA-grade walnut that has been hand rubbed for a traditional oil finish. Cut-checkering on the pistol grip and fore-end create an attractive and positive gripping surface. The I-12 Limited is slender and perfectly balanced, and, like all Franchi shotguns, it is lightweight, at close to 7-1/2 pounds. It tames recoil with the Twin Shock Absorber™ (TSA) system, a two-part recoil pad with a special gel insert. The pad soaks up recoil energy and spreads the kick over the widest area possible. With TSA, felt recoil is reduced by as much as 44 percent.

Hero's Arms Says: This gun was purchased directly from Franchi, and was supposed to be used, but it didn't seem to have ever been unwrapped, so I'm selling it "As-New-In-Case" for a reduced price. It still has the warranty card and manual. The wood is very nice, Franchi calls it AA in some places and AAA in others. This gun weighs 7 pounds 2.5 ounces and has a 14 1/4" Length Of Pull, but with a replacement TSA pad (which I have in stock) the LOP can be 14 1/2" or 14 3/4". The nickel alloy receive with white gold birds is quite striking. All together this Benelli-Style Inertial action is easy to keep clean and quite reliable.

Because of the Inflex recoil pad and spacer the Length of Pull can be varied by 1/4" - with short or long Inflex pads (available from Browning and on-line) the LOP can be varied from 13 3/4" to 15" making it suitable for shorter or taller shooters. Hero's Arms Says: Franchi and Benelli are both owned by Beretta, so this Franchi shares a number of features with Benelli shotguns such as the Inertial semi-automatic system. This system has very few parts and is easier to clean than most other semi-autos. This Left-Handed Benelli M2 Field is truly set-up for a left hander in almost every way. This Remington 11-87 Sportsman is a good all-around gun for the shorter shooter. With its 21" barrel and 12 7/8" Length Of Pull it should fit most shooter from 4' 9" to 5' 3". With its 6 and a half pound weight and ability to cycle both 2 3/4" and 3" shells it can handle full sized loads while still having manageable recoil. Its all weather black finish is non-reflective and rugged. If the owner grows, Remington makes an adult stock that should fit this gun. Remington sells it with only one choke tube, a Modified Choke, so Hero's Arms has added four more Rem-Chokes in Xtra Full Turkey, Full, Improved Cylinder and Skeet Constrictions.
