This new-in-box Weatherby Orion II 20 gauge Classic Field shotgun, made in Japan by SKB, is a good all purpose gun, suitable for hunting or skeet. It is particularly good for people who want less recoil than a 12 gauge produces. It has a high gloss finish, a 14 1/4" Length of Pull over a solid rubber recoil pad. Its 26" barrels chamber both 2 3/4" & 3" shells, and are fitted with chokes in Modified, Improved Cylinder and Skeet constrictions. As these are standard Invector chokes, others are widely available. A second Skeet choke was added by Hero's Arms. The receiver is solid steel, CNC machined, with a Greener style cross-lock design featuring five different locking lugs, one of the strongest designs on the market. The inertial single selective trigger has the firing order selector located on the trigger. Though Weatherby does not provide a written guarantee they do stand behind their firearms. This Franchi Alcione Right Handed Field 12 & 20 Gauge set has been assembled and cased by Hero's Arms. It is new and unfired, and guaranteed by the importer, BenelliUSA for 3 years. It has both 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge barrels, each 28" long, with chambers in both gauges which will shoot both 2 3/4" and 3" shells. It comes with 5 chokes in each gauge, in 12 gauge: Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder and 2 Briley Skeet chokes added by Hero's Arms. In 20 Gauge: Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder and 2 Briley Skeet chokes added by Hero's Arms. The Firing Order Selector is in the trigger, just push to one side or the other to select which barrel fires first. The canvas and leather fitted case also holds choke tools, and a cleaning kit. This is an all purpose gun, equally suitable for all kinds of hunting, skeet, or sporting clays. The satin walnut stock has a 14 1/2" Length of Pull over a vent rubber pad, and 1/4" Cast Off (the butt of the stock is to the right of the centerline of the gun by 1/4") which makes it suitable for a right handed shooter. This is a quality two gauge set at a very reasonable price.

An all weather, all purpose, Browning Citori Lightning. This gun features 28" nickel plated barrels and a grey laminate stock making it suitable for shooting from your boat in salt spray, (using environmentally friendly steel shot of course), or hunting in the rain. The nickel won't rust, the laminate won't warp. At 8 pounds 4.5 ounces plus a vent rubber butt pad it will handle the recoil of a 3" load. An excellent all around choice for sporting clays, skeet or hunting (because it has 3" chambers), this Browning Citori 525 Sporting Grade 1 weighs 8 pounds 0.5 ounces, and has 30" ported barrels with Invector Plus choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. (Invector Plus Choke tubes in other constrictions are widely available). It has a right handed palm swell and no cast, which make it suitable for most shooters. It has a close-radius pistol grip for better control, and the matte finish of the wood could be highlighted with oil or wax if a shiny finish is preferred. The gun comes with three triggers, each of which can be mounted in one of three positions, providing some adjustment to the length of pull. The Length of Pull is 14 15/16" making this suitable for the taller than average shooter. It comes with a set of inserts in different colors for the front sight, and a small wrench to adjust the trigger. It also has a set of chamber locks for safety. Browning's suggested price for this gun is $2,461, so it is a good buy at $1,895. If a Browning 1215 Case is desired it costs $150, for a total of $2,045.

This Cynergy Satin Classic Field Shotgun has all the innovative Cynergy mechanical features: Monoloc Hinge, Impact Ejectors; Mechanical Trigger; Reverse Striker Ignition System; Silver Nitride Receiver; 3.5" Chrome Chambers; Ventilated Top & Side Ribs. This Winchester Select Model 101 looks very much like the 101 Winchester imported from Japan from 1961 to 1987, but this one is made in Belgium by Fabrique National (which made the Browning Superposed) and has an action similar to the other Winchester Select shotguns, with a Beretta style lockup. As a 12 Gauge which takes 2 3/4" & 3" shells in 28" barrels with Invector Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder supplied Skeet Available) and a non-Automatic safety, this is very much an all-around gun suitable for hunting or clay target sports. It has a fairly short Length Of Pull, at 14 3/16", and no cast, so it would best fit a slightly shorter than average shooter, either right or left handed. It's list price is $2,061 but Hero's Arms got a deal on it so we are selling it for only $1,475, probably less than anybody else. It comes with a Lifetime Replacement warranty from Davidson's. HA536 Franchi Highlander Side-by-Side, 12 Ga. 3", 28"MC Bbls, NIB, $2,299

This is one of the first Franchi Highlanders to reach the US this year. It is an light for a 12 Gauge with 28" Barrels, (6 lbs 14 oz) fast, upland game gun with a Prince of Wales Stock, a single non-selective mechanical trigger (the right barrel always fires first, if it has a dud the left barrel will fire on the next trigger pull), and an automatic safety suitable for hunting situations. It has selective automatic ejectors - only the empty hulls are ejected. It has a 14 1/2" Length Of Pull, a solid rubber recoil pad with relieved top for fast mounting, a solid tapered rib on the 28" barrels, which have 3" chambers suitable for 2 3/4" and 3" shells. It has screw in choke tubes of a new design, but comes with only the two in the barrels, an Improved Cylinder in the Right, and a Modified in the Left (Hero's Arms has a Cylinder and second Improved Cylinder available). The list price, in a cardboard and foam, box, is $2,999, but Hero's Arms will sell it for $2,299 in the box, or will sell it in a Franchi ABS Hard Case made by Nigrini, for $2,439. There are not many of these around, so first come, only one served.

HA284 LC Smith by Marlin, 12 Ga. 3" 28" MC Bbls., NIB, $1,095

A famous name, L. C. Smith, has been revived by Marlin with this Italian made (by Fausti Stefano) Over and Under 12 Gauge shotgun. As with the original L.C. Smiths it has a case colored receiver, and attractive fleur-de-lis checkering (all it needs is an entwined serpent and it would be the Hero's Arms Logo). It has a 28" Barrel, chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" shells, and comes with three screw in choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder constrictions. The stock has a 14 3/8" Length of Pull over a sporting vented rubber pad. It has a close radius pistol grip, similar to the Browning 525s. With a weight of 7 pounds 13 1/2 ounces it will tame the recoil of magnum loads. It has a tang mounted barrel selector combined with an automatic safety.
