This sturdy Russian Coach gun has an automatic safety, functional hammers, and screw in chokes.  This gun is good for Cowboy Action Shoots, for home protection, for informal skeet, and for upland hunting.  It has a slightly shorter than normal Length of Pull at 14" for the front trigger and 13" for the rear.  It has a steel butt plate (which could of course be replaced with a recoil pad to give a longer LOP).  It comes with screw in chokes in Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Cylinder constrictions.  Others, including extended and rifled Tru-Chokes chokes are available from Carlsons.  A rifled choke gives greater accuracy with slugs, rifled slugs and sabots, and acts as a spreader for shot.  The Baikal is a good value for money. This gun comes with a one year warranty from Remington.
