This new Grade I Fabarm Classic Lion  is imported and guaranteed by H&K.  It is a 12 gauge Side by Side with double triggers.  It has an nicely figured English (Straight) stock with a right hand palm swell, and 26" barrels.  It has a semi-splinter forearm in the English style. . The barrels are Fabarm's "Tribore" technology.  They feature a 3 inch chamber with an extra long forcing cone, followed by an overbored (to .740") barrel, which then turns into a gradual cone, reducing in diameter from .740 to .722 over a distance of about 10 inches, before a short cylindrical area of about 2 inches just before the screw in choke tubes.  It comes with five  Innerchokes in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Cylinder bores.  According to Fabarm, the Tribore barrel increases shot penetration by 52%.  This has to be much more expensive to make than an ordinary barrel. Lockup is assured by four lugs, two each on the center-line of the barrels,  which go into the water table - this gun is not going to shoot loose in a lifetime. It has an attractive walnut stock with a plastic butt plate and a 15" (front trigger) & 14 1/4" (back trigger) Length Of Pull.  The receiver is silver with engraving.  It comes cased, with gun socks, choke tool and the extra chokes.  It is guaranteed for the lifetime of the original purchaser by H&K.  It is an excellent value and a good choice for upland hunting.
