This corrosion resistant Mossberg Model 590 Mariner is a good choice for home protection or for police work, particularly in a damp environment.  It can be used either with its synthetic stock or with the pistol grip included.  It holds 9 2 3/4" (8+1) shells, or 8 (7+1) 3" shells in its tubular magazine.  The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting a scope or red dot sight, and it has sling swivel posts included.
