Manufactured in Japan by SKB (Sakaba) for Weatherby this Athena III combines the renowned strength, reliability and precision of SKB manufacturing with the elegance and attention to detail of Weatherby.  A beautiful combination of form and function. The 28" barrels have 3" chambers in 20 Gauge, and come with three Integral Multi-Choke System screw in chokes (Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder- Skeet Tubes Available) which interchange with Briley chokes.  It features an oil-finished Claro walnut stock, 14 1/4" Length of Pull) with intricate hand checkering, rounded "Prince of Wales" pistol grip and a slender forearm. Silver/gray nitride sideplates feature rose and scroll engraving with gold inlaid pheasant and quail hunting scenes, while the top lever carries the famous Weatherby flying “W.” Old English solid rubber recoil pad. All together this is an exceptionally attractive and well made gun for upland hunting or skeet shooting.  The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price is $2,173 but Hero's Arms can offer it at only $1,900.
