Winchester's evolving follow-on to the 101 has taken another step with this Select Sporting Energy Adjustable 12 Gauge over/under shotgun.  With its distinctive checkering pattern in ovals and its matt/gloss receiver and matt  barrels it is instantly recognizable.  The barrels are chambered for 2 3/4" shells and are overbored to .739 to reduce felt recoil and improve patterning.  The 28 inch barrels are ported and have Invector Plus chokes (Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder Supplied, others readily available).  The Length of Pull is 14 7/8" but the trigger can be adjusted in two positions to alter this.  The stock has a right hand palm swell on a close radius pistol grip and an adjustable comb which can alter the cast on or off, and adjust the drop to the shooters choice.  The hard case includes tools for adjusting the comb of the stock, a choke wench, extra inserts for the Truglo front sight, and chamber locks.  The lock-up is similar to a Beretta, and the gun balances right at the hinge point.   The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price is $2,030 but Hero's Arms is offering it at only $1,700.
