Weighing in at a scant 6 lbs 7 oz — thanks to a weight-saving magazine tube and recoil spring system, slim barrel with a machined rib, and an alloy receiver, — the 3" chambered Super X3 Field has all the features you want in a field gun, or a sporting gun for that matter. The self-adjusting Active Valve gas system reduces recoil significantly more than recoil-operated systems and a proprietary next generation Pachmayr® Decelerator® recoil pad is fitted to further increase shooting comfort. Trim grip and forearm dimensions add to the lightweight, fast handling feeling. The .742" (.630" in 20 Ga.) Back-Bored Technology and Invector-Plus™ choke tube system work together to provide perfect patterns. A unique gunmetal grey Perma-Cote UT (Ultra Tough) surface finish is applied to external surfaces for extreme corrosion protection, and the bolt is plated with electroless nickel for added corrosion resistance. This is one shotgun you must experience to believe. Three choke tubes and two stock spacers for length of pull adjustments are included.

Hero's Arms Says:  This is an all around light twenty with reduced recoil that is intended for the shorter shooter..  The gun comes with one spacer installed and a 13 1/4" Length of Pull, but 2 more can be installed to bring it to 13 3/4", or the installed one can be removed bringing it to 13", so the gun can grow with the shooter.  The cast & drop shims can be installed between the stock and the receiver to suit individual preferences for cast on or cast off and drop.  It would be handy for most kinds of hunting, and for skeet or sporting clays.  It uses Invector Plus chokes which are widely available, and comes with tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder.  It is made by FN in Belgium.
